At the homework table last night (the kitchen table during home work time), I just happened to take notice that Knowledge Justice had yet another "Project" to do and no formal home-work. I remember going to this young man's class for a day and being so disgusted by the lack of respect. To put it mildly, they behave the way my class behaved for the substitute with their regular teacher. I just happen to be visiting on a day when the math teacher was not in. All I could say is W.o.W!!! The teachers have absolutely no control over the students who threaten them with "Don't Touch me" and "You are not respecting me". In the teachers defence, the System has taken just about all control from the parent and or teacher. In case you did not know, your local public schools are paid for by the local tax payer. Look at the houses in your "Hood" and tell me what kind of Quality you think your going to find in your schools. Supreme and Magnetic go to a different school. The house we were living in had some issues and we where asked to move out while the repairs are being done. We didn't see the point in moving them out of the school for 6 months however Knowledge was transferring schools during this time, so according our lease... Not to say that Supreme and Magnetic are in such a great school, it's just that it is not as bad as Knowledge's school. So now what? We have decided that it is our job as parents to raise the bar. If the teacher requires one paragraph of our eleven year old, we tell him (and help him) produce three. You live with your student, it is your job to know this person. Do not let the system eat yet another of our babies. This man is in the sixth grade!!! Two years out of high school. and six years out of college. We give him books to read such as "Dreams from my father" "Self Matters" and "Melanin: The chemical key to black greatness". He is expected to give a report on each chapter as he reads them and a summary of the entire book upon completion. RAISE THE BAR!!! For those of you in the local area, Beautiful SciAsia and I have been volunteering at the International Youth Organization. In conjunction with the I.Y.O. staff and some members of the Nation of Gods and Earths, we are working to establish a Civilization class for the local youth. Feel free to contact us if you would like to add on and feel obligated to add on if you have a young mind in your custody. We will that we can also teach Chess, Knitting and Crocheting, Basic music production and so much more. Even if you are not of the local area and would like to help or synchronize efforts between your location and ours. lets stop talking and do it. RAISE THE BAR!!!!!

Although we will be moving back to our own district in April and all three young men will be going to school together. I noticed that Knowledge was upset at the fact that he was being told that his school was sub-par. How could that situation have been handled differently in your "opinion"?
